Hello people: this is ME - in front of "Chu Xiu Gong" . Oh-kay bet u guys dont know what that is , teehee, let me be the tourist guide for today! Alright, so this Chu Xiu Gong in english is called "Palace of Gathering Excellence". This Chu Xiu Gong was built in 1420 and rebuilt in 1655. During the Ming and Qing dynasties, it was the residence of Empress and imperial concubines.

Ci Xi once lived here in 1852 when she was created honourable person Lan. She gave birth to the Emperor Tong Zhi here in 1856 when she was promoted to concubine Yi. In 1884, the Empress Dowager CiXi moved her residence to this palace in celebration of her 50th birthday.

Geez i wish i was this good in memorizing history back in secondary school! I officially announce im now a fan of Chinese History and thus im making it a point to know all the emperors and their doings by end of next year :-) CHINESE HISTORY OF 5000 YEARS - amazing!

Lately im really tired of all the travelling, i feel i havent had a good night sleep for a long time. I wanted to have a good rest this weekend but no i can't cuz i have a marketing test on wednesday. SHARKS i know! This is the consequence i have to bear by taking summer course. My eye bags and showing and its fugly.

P.S: my sister says i look like a mouse in the photo above. DO I? Please say no. I dont want to look like a mouse/rat!
